Dr. Phillip C. Burden became the Senior Pastor of Cropwell
Baptist Church on March 2, 2008. Prior to coming to Alabama,
he served as Pastor of Big Stevens Creek Baptist Church
in North Augusta, SC and Duncan Baptist Church in Holly
Springs, NC. Pastor Burden's desire is to glorify the Lord
Jesus Christ by preaching the Word of God faithfully and
equiping the Saints for the work of the ministry. God has
called him to be an undershepherd of Jesus Christ, compelled
by His redeeming love to feed the church on His Word and
to bring the message of salvation to those who are without
Christ. The church's mandate is to glorify God and reach
the nations for Christ.
